So how do you use this service then? Here are the steps you need to follow:

1. Start a new SMS message on your mobile phone as you would normally.

2. Type #NYP_Library_RefDesk@nyp.gov.sg followed by a space, followed by your message text. For example, you might type “#NYP_Library_RefDesk@nyp.gov.sg Hi Librarian, is there a way for me to access online newspaper articles from the Library?”

3. Send the SMS message to 77300. We will receive your SMS message in our mailbox.
